Project Boxter Update, and Contest!

I have done some more work to my Boxter Project ( The Box Art Replica ). I have tracked down and installed the correct rod ends and rear sway bar. Some pics are posted below. But the biggest update to the project is that I think I have also figured out who the mystery driver is, or as I like to call him, Driver X. It took me a little studying, and some late nights comparing details of other driver figures out there, but I managed to figure it out I think. Below is a pic of my Driver X for my Box Art replica. Can any of you figure out who he is? Mine is unpainted for now so hopefully him being one color will help you figure out who he is. Let the guessing begin! If you can guess who he is without the use of 3 or more hints I'll send you one of my Hammer style Aluminum wings and a wing mount for an RC10.

Rules: You can post on here your guesses, and I will reply yes, or no. Everyone gets only three guesses each and after that they are out of the running for the wing. First one to guess the correct answer ends the contest and if they have guessed no more that three times they win the wing and wing mount. No clues as to who he is so don't ask. Use the incorrect answers to your advantage. Here's the pic.

Good Luck!

Now for pics of the rest of the update to Project Boxter.

The front steering tie rod ends are the wrong size. They are 4-40 size that have on there now, but I have the correct 2-56 size ordered. They look the same otherwise.

ok just one question before i submit my guesses...are we supposed to guess what kit the driver came from?

If so, then my first guess is Kyosho f1 / indy driver

Yes you are suppose to guess which kit or kits the driver came from. No it is not the Kyosho Indy driver.

kinda looks like Burt Renolds to me. If it 's not him then I would have to say john Holmes, and my final guess is mini me.

You are close! But not correct.
tamiya striker, bigwig, or one of the road wizard indy cars.
Again, Close but not correct.

The Striker was introduced in 1987, the Bigwig and Road Wizard were not made until 1986, and the fox was introduced the same year as the RC10. Parts from these drivers are the same and may have been used later in production on those vehicals but, which parts and where did he originate?

The head is from a Tamiya rough rider and the body is from a HPI RS4 rally inner body, or vice-versa.
