this hobby is weird....or am i victim of my own madness?

Post by GoldRush »

well as I tapered down my fleet/projects/collecting habits I was tinkering with my spare parts piles of what vintage stuff I have still and was just boxing up the last of my "go fast" stuff and sending it out to its new owner and my buddy comes by to pick up some stuff he bought and noticed that I have a goldpan runner on the shelf and the odds and ends scattered around and I guess he didn't know I like the vintage stuff so he says he has an old box in his garage....well im now the owner of that box now  what was inside was a pair of trucks,an onroad car,a gas truck carcass and misc odds and ends....the best of everything is the 10t that has never seen dirt, and a 1 season old t2 which the only thing that landed it in the box was a broken off ball stud in the rear bulkhead....guess that spare I had laying around went to some good  here are a few pics...im gonna get these beasts up and running and then who knows, ill post up some cleaned up pics later after I get them looking "prettier" along with these rigs I have another friend that got a few goldpans that are rollers/runners and wants me to come get them outta his garage but then again he knows I like gold  now how to explain why the gold pans are reproducing on my shelves again to the wife? any suggestions?

do you think its a bad twilight zone episode for team associated to be re producing a buggy from yesteryear that is capable of beating their latest and greatest production buggy?

Tell her, "I set them free and if they came back (as they did) it was meant to be" and them make puppy dog eyes at her  .
