I have compiled a number of RC10 project cars and can't wait to get started restoring them. I just need to decide which one to start with and then I will post some pics of my progress. Thanks to everyone for the great info on this site.

I don't keep 'em. I build them and sell them to build more and sell 'em so I can build more and...... See what I mean??
I'm a terrible driver but I can build a heck of a car from 1:64th scale to 1:1 scale.
I may keep the Composite craft car but even that's up in the air right now.

I'm liking the white trays. I swear if I was raised in today's standards, I'd have about five acronyms like OCD, ADD, etc. I can never complete one project from start to finish without working on something else. Something like that would keep each project in it's respective space and I wouldn't mix it all up. Where did you get the trays and/or what was there intended use?

Sorry Trailblazer, I didn't intend to hijack your thread, I was just having a little fun with the addiction thing although it's partially true. I'm trying to cut back and I'm getting the shakes
The trays are from Kodak. They were used for a variety of raw materials and finished goods during production. They were available in 1, 3, 4, and 6" heights. As Kodak was closing up shop, they had skids of them we were allowed to take. I could have taken many more but I took a stack of 1" and some 3". You will find them popping up at many different manufacturing businesses here in Rochester. I even see a few where I work now. It's amazing the impact Kodak had, both good and bad.
I have a boat load of 1" and a few 3" trays kicking around You have no idea how handy they can be. I use them to organize parts for my '78 Fire Am build, they're used for the RC'10s and my wife even uses them when she gardens, go figure.
The slot car track is huge, We have been racing since '95 and it actually took the place of RC's for me from '95 through 2010. It's a blast, the track is fully computer controlled and we can race laps or against the clock.
If you guys have any questions about this stuff, PM me
Thanks
