Hello, I am new to the site but not new to the rc10. I recently had some time to clean up some of my old rc10's and I wanted to get my dads done to bring him back to the good old days lol. Anyway I asked him who the parts were made by but he can not remember. After doing some research I think the rear trailing arm setup is by mip. I can not find anything on the shock towers. As for the aluminum bell crank kit, I think they are a&l but I have never seen a purple set before. I also need help identifying a hot trick chassy I have. It has the countersunk holes up front for a rc10 front plate but the back only has 2 countersunk holes, and they do not line up with anything. I appreciate the help fella's.

Bell cranks are vintage A&L aluminum and they are sweet...That looks like a homemade trailing arm system of some kind...I could be wrong ...

Bell cranks are RPS/Losi. They had a platinum color to them, not sure how they got purple
Trailing arms are MIP

If you look closely everything is purple...The shock tower is a graphite one of some sort...

I definetly will post more pics. My dad has been racing rc and slot cars since he was a kid. I still have his old cox nitro car that ran on a string in a straight line. He bought his rc10 in 85 and then when I was about 4 or so I got hooked and have been a dedicated associated fan for 26 years. Recently with the re release of the gold pan my spidey sense has been tingling so I have been getting everything out and cleaning them up. I brought my dads out and forgot about his setup. The shock towers have to be real rare because I have never seen a pic of these with the wood in the center. Regardless I am not ever selling any of my or my dads stuff. It will all go to my son when he is older. I still need to identify the hot trick chassy though, so if anybody has any idea please post it.

Very cool car. Definitely displays that that transitional era. Check this thread out for pics of what that rear suspension kit was made for.

Yes and no

I copied a pair of those trailing arms for J-sou and it turns out the brace and arms are different between the SRB and RC10 versions. But yes....that's where MIP started

Are you saying that this kit was also made for the RC10? If so was this part of the 4WD kit?
