Anyone know what the specs might be on this motor? I think they used to put a little sticker in that white dot area that would give you the letter (and I could then go to the vintage motor thread), but that sticker's long gone.
I took the armature apart, and it's marked with "19 R" which doesn't really match anything I can find.

If the sticker is missing the only way to know the wind is to unwind the armature. The 19R is used during production, not to indicate what wind it is.

That sucks! I'll let my buddy know he's got some work to do if he wants to solve the mystery.

Take a pic of the armature from the commutator down, there are ways to estimate wind number, and the attachment points to the comm fields show how many wire strands are leading there, indicating triple, double etc-

Hi pmathews924,
seems to me like a triple wind. Much more difficult ist to say the correct number of winds. Maybe something btw. a 10x3 Sonic 'Y', 11x3 Sonic 'T', 12x3 Sonic 'H' or a 13x3 Sonic 'E'. I have a sonic E and 7 more btw. 10x2 to 15x4 and will take a closer look which wind will meet yours closest.
Btw. Sonic are fantastic motors! I have a Robitronic Pro Master II motor tester and those old ladies have unbelievable power!! My 10x2 turns nearly 47.000rpm and has nearly 220W power.
Kind regards
Raimund

There's 3 wires attached to the com, so it's a triple for sure.
Leaning towards it being one of these...
Mr B - 15x3
Mr R - 16x3
Mr N - 19x3
Whatever it is its faster than $#!+
