Heading home for some RC10 time
Re: Heading home for some RC10 time
First three are all packages at once, panning across the stuff:
For the Desert Stormer runner - baby's gonna fly!
Couple of shorties:
Can't believe how small this receiver is:
I had a Midnight motor as a kid, so this is going into my Team Car reno:
Lipo battery tray - might cut this down a bit to fit the shorty, but with some adjustability for weight dist.
OG batteries (the ones I always wanted as a kid) and a Savox 1257. The metal bits are servo mounts/horn.
Polite note from a late delivery Random missing parts from the donor car and some other nib bits
Props to Rich for the long shock tower - I'm going to try and make those Traxxas shocks work on the Desert Stormer runner. B4 slipper for the Desert car too.
Some new CVDs and the low profile Savox 1251. Not sure which servo will go where yet.
Bits and bobs.
Jammin Jay Jumper from Team Blue Groove. Profile view is just mean! Perfect for the Desert Stormer!
Body and tire stuff, some screws.
Andy's "truck" Chassis - just a really long buggy chassis (I think this came out before the 10T). Might use this for the Stormer, or maybe another project.
Overlaid on my Team Car - check out the added length (that's what she said...beat you to it)
Heard this is a good starter radio:
The incredible ESC I always wanted as a kid but could never mow enough lawns to afford!
The donor for the Desert Stormer - really will just be using the chassis, motorplate, and front plate.
Check out how tall the JG tower is compared to standard towers. The carbon fiber one is Barts.
My Team Car that I had as a kid is in the middle - it's in great shape but not mint, so I'm going to get it to runner status with the OG LRP esc and the Midnight motor and run it lovingly. The Desert Stormer will be for running a bit tougher.
Words can't describe the Barts arms.
And the whole lot again for good measure!

1. what kind of finish does that tony's screw kit come in?
2. was it for 6 gear or stealth or both?
3. any idea how long it took for the bart's parts arms to come in?

1) I think it's all or mostly in a black finish (I can't see any gold screws yet) - I'll let you know when I buildDMAT wrote:1. what kind of finish does that tony's screw kit come in?

2) Not sure - just said vintage RC10 - I'm betting they threw in the extras for either (how many would be different?)
3) I don't know, I had them all delivered to my parents' house so I was away when they shipped

Those arms!! Man can't wait to go home to mine. Just realized how pathetic that sounds. But hell it's better than cocaine.
