Jay Halsey Tranny Tips for TQ10/RC10

Thanks Lazer. I have never seen that article before. I printed it out and put it in my RC10 binder. The article I'm talking about has the case drilled out at the outdrives and has brass tubing inserted. It eliminates the middle non-flanged bearing in the outdrive. I found that the article was by Bob Gagne. I thought it was here where I found it but can no longer find it. I thought I saved the whole thing but there are pages missing. I did quite a few searches here and could no longer find it. Maybe I saw it on the web but I can't find it there neither. But I really appreciate the link to the Jay Halsey article!
That's the one Speed Racer!! Been looking all over for it! I don't know how you guys do your searches. I thought I did a pretty intensive search and cam up empty. I found more Kyoshsa stuff than anything else. Thanks! I do appreciate it. Going to print it out and put it in my binder!!GoMachV wrote:Is this the one?

For anyone trying to recreate this theres one thing is this thats wrong. Do not use loctite on anything plastic! Loctite makes plastics brittle and can cause plastics to crack
It's worth noting that loctite blue or red should not affect the integrity of the nylon parts. With that said it's not necessary to use it on a shelfer anyhow.
