Okay, is this funky technology or a useless invention? Yeah it's years old but I haven't seen anyone comment on it before.

Put my vote in the latter camp. Did we really need to be able to drive on a smooth wall or ceiling? What's the point if the car can't transfer--by itself--from a wall to a ceiling, or for that matter, from the floor or wall to vice versa?

I'm thinking there could be a lot of more useful ideas spawned from this, but this is kind of ridiculous. Your thoughts?

There is a Tron motorcycle/light bike that drives on walls using a little suction and vacuum device of some sort. We got it on clearance at Target when the movie was well out of theaters and I was skeptical that it would really work. It actually works well though and my son liked it a lot, driving up and down walls until he realized his rc10 b4 was a lot more fun.

The controller looks the same in that vid as the Tron light cycle thing we have.

Air Hogs made a Zero Gravity car that was just like that:

We have one collecting dust... and speaking of dust you will find out very quickly if your walls are dirty or not. My folks gave my son his (maybe Christmas 08 or 09) and he proceeded to drive it around their living room... leaving nice, clean lanes of travel all over their walls. LOL
