I was surfing for parts for my gold pan resto and ended up buying this. Extremely nice rc10gt.I just need to know how to store/display to keep it from drying out ie. tires

Heres what i do for display models:
1) armorall tires
2) store vehicle in a xx4 zip loc bag
3) place vehicle on a stand
4) display in an area with no direct sun light

Looks like you got a Robinson Racing white machined spur gear on it. Very cool. I am jealous, been looking for one of those for years! Nice truck.

Didn't know them spur gears were of any value, got a bag of them somewhere

Just a friendly heads up: Putting Armor All on the tires is actually going to make them dry out faster! Do some research if you don't believe me.

what would you recommend, I'm a little curious myself, I have used Meguiars hot shine tire spray in the past.

Just finished moving so now gonna clean it up and find a body to paint up fpr the shelf

Got her all cleaned up today, simple green, hose bath, then wd40 bath. Ordered a brand new factory aircleaner.Now I just need a body, futaba sr vintage tx and receiver and it will be ready for the shelf
