I bought the majority of the components from Charlie and their coming together is covered in his thread here:-

The intention is to race this one along side my 870C so I decided to build it on what I think is a Strate Racing slotted chassis, this mean I can use the same lipos in both cars.

So this was the parts before I began.

With a few parts swapped, once built it came out looking like this.

I think I'll be adding a B4 slipper set up, while I'm doing that I'll replace the black case with a white one and swap the motor plate for a black one with black motor guard.

It'll be swapping the wheels for white versions and having it painted in Team Moo scheme to match the 870C with the stripe coloured to match the wing.

I'll be fitting my spare LRP TC spec Sphere with an 8.5 or 9.5, Savox 1251 and Spektrum SR3100.

Then all I'll have to do is work out how to set the thing up

Its actually a jg chassis. There should be a huge 8 cell battery hold down that should go with it.

Do a search for bscotti's jg truck conversion.

That's good to know, cheers Jason. I'm going to use velcro straps as battery retainers.

That's a sweet runner there Mark! With Lipo's in the backward position and a brushless motor, you will have to add a lot of weight front and rear to get good traction. I would also soften the colours and stick to a black and white theme as much as possible. Looks like you will have to drill holes to install a rear motor guard (PS I still have a few black ones if needed ;-) ). What kind of rear hubs did you use by the way? Are they white nylon? I guess not otherwise you wouldn't be able to use these B4 rims. So they must be B4 alloy ones? Keep us posted!

Thank you David,

The rear hubs are Racers Edged, Reggie milled them to accept the drive shafts which I think are B44.

I'm going to run the lipos forward, I think that should move more weight up front than an inline shorty moved forward like Mr. Drescher was running and quite a few others are trying at the moment, as for additional weight I guess it's just a matter of how much I'm going to have to add.

I definately intend moving back to black and white and fortunately I have a few spare black motor guards  The chassis had a few extra holes when I bought it so I have no qualms drilling a few more

PS nice to see you hanging around here a bit more buddy :D
