Never seen one like it, has the sheen of isotropic carbon fiber(like composite craft), looks like it's the outer layers with another type of filler, maybe weave or something.

look like c.c. to me going by the finish, as well as the shape by the shock mounting holes.

i had a few of them (shodog had a bunch ). here's a pic of one that shows the edge.

yep, that's what it looks like to me too. is the inside edge on the bottom of the 6 holes kinda sharply shaped too?

ya, that sharp curve is kind of a dead giveaway for a c.c. tower. they had two different finishes, matte and shiny, and both were cut that way.
