Dick Trickle

I just saw that Dick Trickle passed away. He was an under dog in NASCAR but knew how to race a snowmobile with the best of them.

He also had one of the best names in racing.

Not a NASCAR fan but I had heard of him for sure. Very sad.

yeah, it sucks. He never won a nascar race but finished in the top 5 often enuf to be heard of. I rooted for him a few times because he was out in front as the underdog but that usually meant he would get screwed in a restart.

yeah, not real sure what to think of it all. He drove to a cemetary and called 911 to let them know that there would be a dead body there when they arrived. I'm sure that the answer to why is already out there but just haven't heard it yet...

He was a very heavy smoker. Smoked while driving even. He was supposedly depressed and had health issues (lung cancer?) so probably just decided it was time.

I gotta say, is probably be the same way at the end. Suffering thru terminal cancer (or whatever incurable disease) would suck.
