Anyone have experiences with these Feetech/Fitech servos? Seems like a pretty new company
Great deal if they're quality...but experience says too good to be true?

no clue on the seller, case looks familiar as im looking for a metal cased servo too but It doesnt look polishable in a normal sense that I could get it to a mirrorish finish.
Edit: aluminum alloy casing should make it possible.
It looks almost just like the Fitec ones I saw too.
actually it is Fitec with a name change. The way they write and the color the name is almost identical.
made in china, might be the only selling location (ebay) at moment.
made for rc planes, not sure how well they transfer.

Feetech probably got hammered on by Hitec, which the former Fitec logo was blatantly plundering
In other words, keep your money for a proper servo brand... Ideally Sanwa, KO, Futaba, but I must say that lately Savox/Align have pumped out some pretty amazing and inexpensive products.
There are other promising newcomers too... like omg servos. Silly name, but it appears they are good products very closely related to Futaba...

I dont know if you were looking for a metal cased servo or just stumbled across that but have you ever tried the low profile servos?
I've seen some like that but dont know how well they do but they have a similar look.

One thing you should never skimp on is servos. It's the main connection between you and the car. Cheaper ones that don't centre properly or overshoot are just horrible to drive with. I'm not saying these are like that, It's just that you won't really know until you buy.
In my opinion, stick with the established brands

You can have a spektrum s6040 with better specs for an extra $10. I am currently using one of the protek servos from amain in my SC10 and it is holding up well and is as good as my spektrum servos and was only $50.

the 6040 is dead nuts reliable too. i swear by that servo, it's the only spektrum product i buy.
i doubt spektrum makes it, but nonetheless a great servo.
