I bought the wrong one, I have the one you showed, on other kits, but thought since it was the same part #, maybe it was for later cars. Oh well.

Yeah I hear you - well let's all keep an eye out for some NIB team cars!
I'm positive mine came with black, so hopefully someone can find a NIB sometime soon and we can add to the collection.
