Was browsing evilbay one morning before work and seen this 870C, buy it now was high so I decided to keep looking, that afternoon the bin was lowered and I bought it. Auction said little use, tires like new etc...
Received it and started looking it over and was getting bummed, tires are not originals, and they are cracked, front universal falling out, then I see the epoxied hub carrier, rpm arms. Now the rest of the buggy is pretty nice, but I'm thinking it's going back.
Contacted the seller they said return it, no problems, or they would refund a fair amount.
I decided to keep it, and start looking for parts. I tore it down to see what the deal is with the uni and it is shorter, not even sure it is for a Yok, also found the other hub carrier is stripped. Should be a fun car wjhen it's completed.
Wanted an 870C to see what all was different from an 834B, and it's a lot!

Re: Latest Yokomo buy
That looks a pretty sound base for a good resto. Watching this thread with interest as I'm restoring one at the moment.
