A mild thunder storm rolled through my area earlier this afternoon. After a loud boom, I looked out the window to see this :










Luckily the debris flew in the opposite direction of my cars.

The Natural thing to do is use the wood to carve a baseball bat called Wonderboy.

A couple years ago, my parents had similar lightening damage to a popular tree. I was going to fire up the stihl but decided to hold off. The tree is still alive.

So every one liked that tree or was it a POPLAR tree?
