Everyone here fits into a certain demographic so I thought this thread might be fun to have around.

No rules or anything, but feel free to post any apps, software, or sites that you think everyone else might enjoy. :D

This app is my reason for starting this thread. It’s the closest thing to driving an r/c car that I’ve found, and it’s a lot of fun! I’ve killed a lot of free time and lunch hours with it. Available for Apple and Android I believe. Maybe even PC, I haven’t researched it.

The brake and throttle control elements of the game make it a lot of fun and very “R/C like”.

I found that your best bet is to open up the Moon Level asap and there you can rack up major coins to open up other levels and vehicles. The funnest things for me were completely decking out the motorcycle and monster trucks. They each have their own strengths and weaknesses. Each level has very unique characteristics which keep the game interesting and challenging. :D

That is a great app! I tried it and have now found a new favorite, thanks!

I have been playing an online golf game since early 2008. www.wgt.com

It is photo realistic, and in full HD it looks awesome. Like a lot of online gaming these days you can add real money to purchase credits and buy better clubs/balls etc.

It is a good way to wind down after work, or spend a sunday afternoon golfing along with the guys on tv.

I have found a lot of fun things to do at Miniclip.com.

Right now I am playing Good Game Empire, which is a medieval sim type game where you build a castle and outposts and defend from other players. Join alliances for protection and strength. I really don't recommend this time suck, because that is exactly what it is, a time suck! It takes a very long time to develop your properties and it is "expensive" in resources that you procure throughout the game. You can buy rubies to spend any way you like, but I don't pay to play games, so not something I do. Even still, the cost/benefit ratio of using rubies makes that route very expensive as well. Like I said, I don't recommend even starting because you will reach the point that you've invested so much time and effort that you won't want to quit, even though you should!

I've been playing Hill Climb Racer for a year or so...

I have most of the vehicles decked out - I haven't opened the "Rally Car", because I don't think it will have enough suspension travel, just like with the "Race Car"...

I have most of the levels open - I haven't bothered with the new "Arctic Cave", because I hate the other "Cave" stage already...

I can make the most money with the Monster Truck on the Highway - I can make like half-a-million coins in one run (I get to about 6000 meters).

The decked out Motocross Bike is a handful - I wish I could remove some of the "Mid-Air Control"...

My site of choice is https://Kongregate.com

Pretty much is just a mass of flash games on the internet. It comes with a chat on the side of each game and badges like you see on the xbox with gamer score.

I've been using it for 5 years or so now. It got popular enough that gamestop actually bought them out a few years back. Its up to 80,000 games or so.

It stands out because they also provide the software and guides to make your own games and allow free hosting on the site too.

Most game publishers host their games here. https://Jayisgames.com and https://armorgames.com are 2 other big game hosters.
