In honor of my birthday... a little color in my life

Well it was my birthday a few days ago and since the woman said I could do anything I wanted... I opened a gold box rc10 and got to building.
Well a few minutes into it I noticed that this open box that was supposedly only missing the front shocks had a really messed up chassis and some bad parts... Well I decided to use this almost mint vintage blue tub. See my post to view these strange plastic parts:

Anyways, I used .71 shocks with travel limiters on the front end and the top holes on the shock tower like Jammin Jay's Dad said to! I have to look through my parts for a new transmission case, and I could use some help if anyone has a turnbuckle like the one in the picture about 1.5 inches long or slightly longer and I can cut it, as long as it looks the same. Thanks for your help.

Hey asashaw is that blue chassis painted, powder coded, or anodized ?

factory powder coated, associated made 5 colors back in 1991 or so...

Happy B-day. Blue is my favorite color also. Blue Springs are nice detail too.

What other colors were there in the day? Is there an online guide to all the rc10 editions produced?
