XX Foam Outdrive Bearing Shield(s)
According to the the XX manual, the foam outdrive bearing shield (92) is available as a spare, as part number A-3078. However, when searching for this part number (on eBay or Google) the large bearing shield does not appear to be present in the packet.
Is anyone able to shed any light on this as I'd really like to get some replacements?
Thanks.

They quit using them on the outdrives iirc, it would just take finding one of the early packaged ones.

Hmm. I think you are talking about the pretty blue seals in the tranny right behind the outdrive cups.
The XX exploded view "Price List Reference Guide" dated 94 does seem to show that large seal as being A-3078 but the part shown above only includes the one little blue seal for the diff.
So ya whats up with that? I dunno.

Re: XX Foam Outdrive Bearing Shield(s)
Thanks guys....this certainly helps clear up the confusion. I have part number A-3078 and those large blue seals are nowhere to be seen so I'm either going to have to find an older pack or make some. I'm sure the bearing itself will suffice as a template so all I need to do is locate some thin foam similar to what Losi used.
I feel an eBay search coming on!
Thanks again.
