To me it looks like a SRB with lots of Parma hop-ups from the early 80’. I have similar pictures of SRB/Scorpion crossover from a Japanese magazine

Definitely looks like a hopped up SRB...similar to the JG Rough Rider. http://tamiyaclub.com/article.asp?id=189

Crazy! I like how they used two set of lower arms on the front (kind of Scorcher style). I'm building a 4wd Scorpion right now. Interesting to see someone else's take on it.

Hard to tell, but it can be a rear mono-shock assembly from DirtBurners made for the Circuit 1000 series like this...

That's inspiring. I've got an idea for some cool inboard shocks now

I don't see a heatsink on the trans case so, until I see the pics of it you've probably seen, or learn Japanese, I'm calling it a Scorpion. :P

I'm loving the front axle mounts on that chassis, and thinking I could do a set of one piece chassis rails based off that design with built in clamps. Kind of like the front axle mounts on the old Cheetah, Hyperdrive or TRC pan cars.

The 4wd front end is a clever piece of art too, but I think the car should be shaft driven and have a Sidewinder shell on it.

I think it probably says IRS200, because this is what Eustace Moore called the "Independent Rear Suspension " hop up that I can tell is on that car.

I know of a similar SRB that was cobbled together from southern california hop ups (mostly RCH) and sent over seas and was fairly popular in places like Australia. Maybe one of those old Ausies will chime in and remind me of what I'm thinking of.

I don’t see any tube, so I call it a Tomahawk…
