Actually I was surfing around for mounting and gluing info for the 1/12 scale stuff. Same idea just smaller. I know lacquer thiner works great for removal of the old tires, and i feel like the tires go on easy enough but I have a hard time getting them well centered and getting all the bulges out.
Surely someone has a post bookmarked or something...but I haven't found it yet either

There used to instructions on RC4less but I can't find them. The thinner works good for removing tires but I prefer acetone. Then I apply contact cement to the inside of the donut and the outside of the cleaned up (even sanded wheel) and let dry over night maybe even 2 coats of cement on both. To install you need a Kimbrough tire horn for easy installation on the wheel, first dunk the wheel in M.E.K. for 2 seconds and the set it on a flat surface and place the tire horn on top. Dunk the donut for 2 seconds in the M.E.K. and then slide the donut over the tire horn down on the wheel and it should be pretty easy with the M.E.K. making the cement like grease for a short time. This is pretty much what RC4less instructions were and it has work many times for me.

A bit late to the party but you can actually recycle 1/8 tires to make perfect 1/10 tires. 1/8 tires seem to have a higher rubber content than 1/10 foam which make for killer tires that you can basically get for free. Most 1/8 guys just chuck away tires when they get too low or chunk a tire, they still have plenty of meat for a 1/10 tire.
Soak the tires off with acetone and let dry. I use contact cement and coat the inside of a tire and outside of a clean rim. Let the contact set up untill it isn't tacky. I then dip my finger in turpentine and liberally wet the contact inside the tire and the rim. While wet quickly slip the rim in the tire on a flat surface and let dry. True them up run em, good as a new.
Nothing beats free tires.
