Dads old Ford Ranger F150

Post by Meanee »

When I was young Dad bought a Rc car......he had the decision between the Toyota Hilux 4wd and the Ford Ranger. He chose the Ranger.

Here it is with the Lancia body that he modified to go on the chassie.

Wow, both those look really nice! The Lancia body is sweet and in really great shape.

I wish Tamiya would re-release this kit! I would love to have one some day! Great score!

I picked up a barely used F150 Ranger for $40 once. I dont know why I got it because I ended up destroying it almost straight away.

Drove it over huge jumps, repeatedly rammed it into a brick wall. Towed it around behind another car and made it whip into solid objects like walls and curbs. I even tried to drive it around whilst it was doused in mower fuel and lit up...until the neighbour complained and told me would call the police and fire.

I finished it off by playing chicken with 1:1 cars.

It ended up in the bin.

Why, why, why?

Cheers,

Michael.

Tagger......that sounds like a destructive stage you went through.
They do bounce around due to the spring setup it runs......this has a huge crack in the front screen.

I will put the lancia body n post another pic soon.

That looks awesome!

My neighbor had a Sand Scorhcer and my other neighbor down the street had a F150. Those are what got my into R/C.
