servo?

What's up guys. Been while since I posted. Got back to working on my 10Ts and need some advice on a few ideas. Can anyone offer a good metal gear servo to put in the trucks? And looking to change the gear ratio in the tranny (at least that's what I read in some article) How is this done and why would u do it?
