Jrx Pro- Looking for old school paint jobs

Post by Joe P »

Hey guys, newbie here and this is my first post. I was looking in
storage and I found my old Jrx Pro from when I was a kid. All kinds
of memories!! Its in pretty good shape and I would like to get it going
again. I will try to post a picture of it. Im looking for some pictures from
car action back in 89-91. There would be photos of buggies in races
with all kinds of colorful paint jobs, and Im not talking about professional
paint jobs. I always wanted to paint the body with the old school style
that was popular back then- The paint job looked like paint was dripping towards the back of the car, usually in bright colors like pinks and
oranges, etc. Can somebody please post a few photos of these kinds of
paint jobs? I know there were pictures in those car action years that would show highlights of a race, and it would show several cars on the
track during the race and they would be painted that style. I did try to "search" on this website. I thought I hit gold when some kind person
posted every car action magazine during those years and more, but the
links do not work anymore. At least they dont work for me and Ive tried
looking at them on three different computers. To help narrow it down,
Im pretty sure it was around the time that losi's JrxT was really popular.
I remember back then seeing pictures of truck races and there were alot
of JrxT's in the race with the paint job Im talking about. This website
is great! Now I know what Im going to do during the 2ft of snow we
are suppose to get friday and saturday! Thanks guys!!

Check this link. Follow the links in here and you will find archived RCCA magazines to browse through. That's how I find themes when looking for paintjobs.

Romulus, Thanks for posting this. For some reason the links dont work anymore. Im not sure if its because I need a certain program to open them or not but they do not open for me at least. It says they no longer exist. Even the file size on the links say 0.00. But I still thank you for trying!
