Hi all,
For a while now I've been collecting parts and cars from all over the world from a Japanese company called Playtron. I've been focussing primarily on the Viva Arizona Buggy (a sandrail made for the US market in 1982 or 83) and the much less attractive Mercedes 500K. Exactly the same chassis though, the buggy has a nice rollcage and the Merc has a fugly lexan body.
The cool thing about these cars is that they have an on-board electric starting system for the .09-.11 size glow engine. All three cars I have have a .11 GM engine. An optional module would even allow you to start the car from the transmitter (3ch.)
The buggy in the pics with the yellow cage arrived just a few weeks ago, purchased it in Florida and it was forwarded to me by a great boardmember whom I will not name for I don't have his permission to do so. But thanks again A....
Here are a few pics:

Here are some more close-ups...remember, this car still needs a full stripdown and rebuild....

Weird. The frame is somewhat reminiscent of the AYK Bobcat/Buffalo, but with a gas motor out back.
