double xx tranny question

Hopefully someone out there can help me with this question. My buddy who i run with has a double x, and has been searching for a new tranny case. He said that the evader bx and xx share a lot since duratrax bought the rights to the xx. does anyone know if the tranny cases are interchangable? The Losi part number is LOSA3058 and the Duratrax is DTXC7890. or anyone want to part with a tranny case?

I don't think they are. The Duratrax uses a stealth style layout.

the duratrax tranny is weird too. there's an odd bushing in there that cannot be replaced with a bearing.
