battery hold down

i made a little mod to my b4 battery hold down strap. i thought i would share in case it is of interest to anyone. i don't know the various versions but i think this applies to the b3 and b4.
i liked the newer style with the 90 degree thumbscrew especially because im a devil for losing body clips.

the screw already had a hole for the body pin so i bent a paperclip into a d shape and soldered it into the head of the screw.

i then cut a slot to let the paperclip through when rotated 90 degrees. to replace the structural integrity lost by the cut i filled the nearby hole with hot glue. i placed the whole piece on a cold metal surface. this gives the hot glue a flat under surface but it wont stick to the cold metal. i filed a small groove for the paperclip to seat in. the screw is pretty tight so this is not quite necessary but it cant hurt.
now the battery hold down strap is easier to remove/replace and i can't lose the pins.
