Just wondering what you gents are using for rear tires. I recently learned Bowties are no longer made and that's too bad. I had great luck with them at my local track. I race my T2 with a 9.5t plutonium sensored bl motor on a semi-loose 1/8scale track that's bumpy. Thanks guys.

PL Calibers hook up much better, with way better side bite and equal forward traction to the Bow-Ties and a much longer tire life (bow-ties really fell off as the tires wore after a couple of runs). JC goosebumps are another nice low traction tire that performs well on everything from hardpack to loose conditions.

Reggie, what compound do you recommend?

goosebumps in green are great, and when they wear down they become a completly different tire that's got it's own uses. once they wear to that spot they last quite a while.

calibers are a great tire, they wear so long i lost track how old one pair i have is.

when it gets too dusty for double dee's is when i pull out the calibers, they'll dig through anything and still have great performance in the groove.
