RichieRich's Tekin
I think this is the first Tekin conversion I've ever seen with a body. I still have to bend some wire to mount the wing. Overall, I think this came out pretty nice. The body didn't have to be trimmed too much off the normal lines.

Re: RichieRich's Tekin
The instructions suggest leaving it off for bumpy tracks. We'll see how well this baby rips once I find some electronics to put in it.scr8p wrote:looks good.
but where's the active link setup?
Oh and thanks for the comments!

Nice build Rich. I couldn't run something that sweet.
He's an idiot. Comes from upbringing. His parents are probably idiots too.

Re: RichieRich's Tekin
I only have one Tekin buggy. Yes, I'm going to run it. What's the point if you don't? I realize some people like museum stuff, but not me. You only live once, and I'm going to run it. Of course, I'm not going to run a season of racing with it. Just going to bomb around the yard. Take a few jumps...maybe take it to the track to see what kind of lap times it'll put down. Who knows.

Be sure to slap some protective sheet on that bad boy before it hits the dirt. Its an old skool runner's best friend
Looks like the big two are out of stock though

The snowboarding stuff and super thick clear tape works also. Give a heads up when you go to the track, I'm around the area and will drag some of my runners out too.

Nice build-up Richie, but be careful with the rear arms, I've been told they were VERY fragile... Now waiting for some action pictures

You know what? They LOOK fragile to me too. I may replace them with some regular RC10 rear arms for running...just to be safe as I don't have a spare set of Tekin arms.

No, I will not help you with your dorky short course truck…sorry, it’s against my religion. If it's not a 1/10 scale buggy...I don't care.
