Does anyone have any experience using the charger....Associated has it deeply discounted on their web site under web specials.....regular 260.00 now 65.00.
My buddy and I both have this charger. I think he's had his for over a year; I've had it about 6 months. We've charged LiPo and NiMh batteries with it. No problems so far.
The only downside, which is minor, is that it doesn't come with many cables. You will probably have to buy/make the power output cables (to the battery) and a balancing cable.
Is LRP Quadra Pro 2 Charger still a good LiPo charger? Will it get the job done? I picked it up years back for charging some random NiMH packs and it says it can handle LiPos. Don't know if there's some magic in the newer chargers to make them any...

LRP is a decent brand. I have no info on that particular charger, but if it was mine I'd use it for Lipo's. I have 4 chargers, and tend to use the old ones most often. There's no magic behind them. The older ones likely just charged at lower amp...

Yes have seen at RRC magazine. I think you´re right Tekomo being a British company.
I have an old Pro Tech Charger. The model number is 707 Autopeak. I would like to try and get a copy of the manual if anyone possibly may have it. If no one has it then perhaps you know what types of cells it can charge. Is it...

Buddy gave me his old Pro-Ace super charger that he got when he bought the RC10 I now have. Has adjustable current, trickle charge and can run on AC or DC power. Question is, can I charge my 5000mah batteries with it? I do plan to get a newer...

I put this Tekin in a computer power supply back in the day. Still works great.
It used to have a nice polished finish.
Anybody remember the Tuna Charger circa 1982? It was the first commercially available temperature sensing charger I can remember. They were made by a racer named Gary Slayton who worked for Panavision in SoCal. Here's a pic of mine, complete with...

Hey I ran across a photo of Gary Slayton. Now I remember his nickname was Gumball , looks like he was a slot car guy from way back.
While designing longer arms for NIX10M, I started to think about so called quadra-symmetric suspension layout used from RC10B3 onwards.
Can it be done for tub chassis RC10 and how much tuning is needed?
Well, here it is... new long arms...
