My Yokomo Works '91 (new Body pictures)

Post by Rob Kuijper »

Hi Guy's,

after restoring some RC10's it was time to take the logical step to own a Yokomo Buggy.
After a long search i found a really nice Works '91, that is in an exceptional state, i found in the country i live in (the Netherlands)
Even the original rubber gaskets are under the bulkheads and still very fresh!
Also i have the original Japanese Manual in Mint conditioce the car was in really good shape from it's previous owner who maintaned it very well, all i had to do to it was, clean it and personalize it to my taste and collect the final goodies i wanted n this car. The electronics that are in it now are:
Novak M1c ESC
Novak XXL receiver
Kopropo 1001 Fet Servo
Reedy MR Motor
Sanyo 1700 SCE cells

I have also added a nylon wing, the Associated Hard Coated shocks, and since the original rims are very hard to find i added a set of JC wheels, Also i have a TBG body that will be painted in a '91 Box Art style.
Some pictures to Enjoy:

yes, very cool car! Love the color of the wing.
Now that you mention that you have the manual in japanese, some people in this forum would love that you share it. I would be happy doing the translations into english.

Thanx Guys ;-)
I would be happy to share the Japanese Works '91 Manual, only I do not have a scanner right now.
Hope to get that sorted soon, shall I PM it to one of you gentlemen ;-)

Looking hot!

I would also be interested in the manual, but I suspect a fair bit of it will be in the Works '93 manual?

Very nice, there's something about the Works 91 that just does it for me 8)

I have a manual that I have already scanned, when I get back to work on the 7th I'll transfer it into the scans section.

Thanx Guy's I will try to enlarge the pictures ;-)
@ LittleVette, I have found a wing in the UK, it looks very similar to the Yokomo wing, it was in a Ballistic Buggy labeled Bag, does anybody have more info on the wing?

The local hobby shop here in town has one of those wings in bright pink! Old Yokomo package and all.
