what do these foam tires fit

Post by aconsola »

I got this bag of 4 foam donuts in with a lot of NIP buggy tires.
There appears to be 2 fronts and 2 rears, all sealed in a single bag. there is no identifying information on the package other than a blue dot on the inside of each tire.
the sizes are approximate as I measured them through the bag.
1.5"id x 2.75"od x 1.5"w
1"id x 1.375"od x 1.5"w
I have never seen any tires packaged this way.
any ideas what they are for? or who they are made by?
Thanks!

hmm............. maybe a parma kit like the promod 37 chevy, or one of their other "goodtimes" kit?

just a guess, though.

EDIT: nevermind. i don't think that could be right. the i.d. of those rear donuts are probably too small. :?

I bought a set of Kyosho wheels/tires packaged like that a long time ago. They were pre-mounted, but packaged just like that with the dot on the inside of the wheel. The dot indicates compound, mine were green. I know it sounds dumb, because it's a dot  , but your dots looks just like mine except for the color.

Option tires for a F1 kit most likely. Not "regular" 1/12th size.
