Re: Andy's bulkhead
Ok, that makes sense. Do you have to use the Andy's arms/chassis too? It seems narrower than the stock bulkhead.

Re: Andy's bulkhead
yup, it's like a 10T bulkhead, you'll need long front a-arms like the RPM "world's" but Andy's

Re: Andy's bulkhead
Did RPM make a narrow front arm mount? and if they did was it like the 10T which allows you to bolt the top deck of a Composit craft chassis?

Re: Andy's bulkhead
i've been wanting to know that exact same thing. i had to dremmel a 10t bulkhead to fit narrow arms. luckily i made a decent job but it'd be nice to have something stock.shodog wrote:Did RPM make a narrow front arm mount? and if they did was it like the 10T which allows you to bolt the top deck of a Composit craft chassis?

Re: Andy's bulkhead
they did, but it only allows you to use it on the RPM Ultra Molded Chassis as there are no holes or anything to bolt the front tubes on it. I have one on my Whity white RPM rig. Pretty hard to find if you don't know where to searchshodog wrote:Did RPM make a narrow front arm mount? and if they did was it like the 10T which allows you to bolt the top deck of a Composit craft chassis?

Re: Andy's bulkhead
Ok, I'm confused. So there's a world's front end not related to the RC10 Worlds Car, correct? It refers to a modified RC10 raced in the IFMAR worlds?
So, can someone tell me what consists of a worlds front end? What parts are needed, who makes them, etc? Judging from other threads, people are using truck nose plates or completely different chassis with truck parts?

Re: Andy's bulkhead
Let me give this a shot ...
RPM made 2 conversion kits for the tub RC10, one for the front and one for the rear. The front kit included a truck style nose plate, RC10-T bulkhead and World's wide arms. This bulkhead had the attachment points for the nose plate tubes. The rear included a template to cut the stock tub chassis and new longer World's arms and mounts. I can post pics of the 2 kits if anyone is interested. I also have a modified RC10 that has these kits installed that I can post pics of.
RPM also made a Ultra molded chassis that used the same World's arms as above. A different RPM front bulkhead that did not have the nose plate attachment points was used because the RPM chassis doesn't have the tubes. Check out the various builds in the reader's rides to see examples.
All of the RPM parts are no longer available and very hard to find NIP.

Re: Andy's bulkhead
The RPM Worlds refers to the Worlds '91 where RPM released this conversion to deal with the bumpy Detroit track.
Associated Worlds (car) refers to the Basildon '93 Worlds where BK won with a much more standard car than the previous two events. A replica was released as the Worlds car.

Re: Andy's bulkhead
write pot-pourri, which basically means in French a blend of different dried flowers to make the house or the toilet scent better, lol, by extension, it also means a blend of anything, that was the French vocabulary minute of the day. Do you want croissants chauds ma chérie? I can't believe how many French words you guys use, sorry to hijack the very serious thread heretempleofspeed wrote: poutpourri

Re: Andy's bulkhead
What had the pot-pourri? BK's? or the Replica? BK's wasn't far off the Worlds replica.. the biggest change was the Hydradrive. I touched that car at the eventtempleofspeed wrote:With a poutpourri of different bits from the various team driver's cars, I might add...tomstacey wrote:Associated Worlds (car) refers to the Basildon '93 Worlds where BK won with a much more standard car than the previous two events.
