Servo Savers

Hi,

I searched around on this forum and couldn't find an answer so I'm hoping it's any easy one for you all.

Are the servo savers for the Edinger RC10 (what I have) interchangeable with the B1, B2, B3, B4, 10T etc cars? They look pretty much the same with having to work off the two main screw stumps. Some even have a cool design where a spring will vertically separate the servo pieces and allow the wheels to deviate from the servo drivetrain if you hit something. On ebay, I see a spring/washer set (says B3) for $3 and a black plastic servo saver pack (says B3/T3/B2) that I want to try to use because it has the cool spring feature, is cheap, and looks like it will fit on the two stump screws I have in my "gold pan".

I'd love to hear any opinions as well.

TIA,
Lloyd

Although harder to find, the t2 and gt bellctank works great and comes in kit form with the special posts, spring and nut. Unfortunately they have become discontinued but you still see them on eBay often. You can also buy the parts seperatly and I think they are all still being produced. Download a gt manual and you will have part numbers and directions.

7532 is the whole kit. It comes with turnbuckles too but they are for a truck

yes, that set of parts was also available on the DS.

you can also do a mix and match of parts to get a full associated setup, using some of the parts you have mentioned above.
