So,I have this really cool old Bolink/A.R.T. Agitator XII,complete with the original body,in really good condition for it's age.
Apart from the rear wheels and tires.
I threw some 12L4 rims and tires on the front,but I can't find anything to bolt onto the 2 bolt rear hubs.
You do not have to buy new wheels. You can re mount those wheels with new tires. All you have to do is soak them in lacquer thinner. The glue will melt and the tires will swell up and come off like butter. To remount the tires all you need is some contact cement and lacquer thinner. Apply the contact thinner to inside of the new donut and the outside of the wheel. let dry for about half an hour. Dip in lacquer thinner, press together and let dry over night. True and you are back in business. You can use pre trued or rough cut donuts. Any brand of tire that you would like they all mount the same. If you are going to do this please remember to do it in a well ventilated place as contact cement and lacquer thinner have a rather strong smell.
I'm looking for some viable options for wheels to go on an RC10DS. What setups are you guys using and what adapters/parts are you running to make this all work right? Seems like the stock BBS wheels and speed hawg tires are hard to come by. Thanks...

Anyone tried using this conversion for the front?
Yes, I just did. I'm using that kit with the HPI Vintage series wheels and tires. I have the 0mm offset in the front and 6mm in the rear.
It took some custom fitting to use the stock front C-hub....
I am building a SG Coyote 2WD runner and are hoping someone could give me a clue as to what current wheels may be suitable.

I will cut the inside bead off the front wheels and then fit 4WD fronts so they are a little narrower. I used to do that to make 22mm rims out of 26mm touring car rims years ago and provided you glued the tyre on...

They were a 5 slot, basically a mini version of an old Ansen/Fenton/ET slot.
Well SC10 and B4.2 front hex stuff is just as rare and expensive today as anything. What are options for available wheels these days. Seems various front stock (7842) is out there for non nex conversion but nothing really available for rear.

I'll soon have a parted-out Bandit in my possession, my first Traxxas. I can't say I've ever seen a Bandit rolling on anything other than the stock chrome five-spokes which I find to be kinda ugly. I know they use a pin-drive mount on all four...
