Lunchbox gearbox questions

I was doing some surfing (cant remember where) and found where someone used gears from a madbull/fighter buggy in their LB. I've also seen pics around of a clear(ish) gearbox and some colored (red & green) gears for it.

What are the differences between these? are the ratios different? some stronger then others? different pitch? pricing?

I got a couple of boxes (lunch ) i'm going through and dont want to wish i did it different later

I'd look through the manuals to see if that would help answer your question. They might use all the same gears since they're all the same concept. The Mad Fighter is the one with the red and green gears that you're thinking of.
