Has anyone here dealt with the new Speed Passion offerings? They look great as does the pricing.

Wonder how this would work with a 10.5 brushless motor?

Very cool! I like the idea that I can program it with my android cell phone.

I haven't tried the latest offerings but plan to in the near future. I've had SpeedPassion electronics and motors for 5+ years now and love them.

Think I might have to try one. What's the consensus on this one running a 10.5-13.5T in a B4.1? http://www.speedpassion.net/shop/details.asp?p=SP000060&c=ESC

I would be interested in buying one, the orange ESC to start. The price seems great on the ESC, what are the ups and downs on it?

The orange is what first caught me eye. Enough amps?

Not sure if this info is correct, but this says 40 amp continuous, 270 burst? http://www.ebay.com/itm/150939970845?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

that auction stated down to 5.5 turn...but I would be wary. No timing 17.5 or 13.5 should be okay, but that is on the low end of amp ratings.

I'd be comfortable with that esc and a 13.5-10.5. You can search through the RCTech SpeedPassion thread for more info. I believe they said that the 5.5 rating was very conservative.

Glad you posted this Bob. I have been very happy with SP motors (3.0 versions that I buy used off rctech) but didn't know about these affordable brushless esc's. That's right at the pricepoint I pay on rctech for used Lrp sphere brushless stuff which work fantastic for me. I have a tekin rs pro in my new purple b3 racer and really have no idea how to use its potential. I don't have a Hotwire though, not sure if I should go that route.

I would consider that gold esc for a basher/runner if others have good luck with them.

Anyone tried one of these out yet? I'm gonna pick up one this week. Info via the Speedpassion thread over at RcTech says that a 9.5 is the lowest turn motor. Just going to use a 13.5 in a CE.

I've been using the SP stuff for quite a while. I have three GT2.0 pro and the GT 2.0 LPF version.

Both are excellent. I love the tune-ability of the software. I've been eyeing the.new Rev pro series. I might opt for R version for running blinky and superstock. Any issues, and I've had very few, have been resolved easily. The SP thread on rctech has been very helpful. I just need a better grasp on tuning my software to.match my driving and the.track.
