Bolink Invader Oval

This one came in a box marked for a dirt tracker II but the tires are from the "off road" version and it had the proper dirt oval body for a dirt tacker. If it was ran, it wasn't ran much! Lots of dust and improper assembly but otherwise almost all there. I do need a rear brace, probably just end up making one.

I really want to run it just to see how much of a whiplash effect you get from the spring!

Some had dogbone and couplers, anyone know if that is early or late production? Mine has some black and some green g10 making me think mine is late, but the spring coupler screams early production!

new meaning to the words axle windup! That's a pretty neat setup.

Well, this type of rear axle design, I bet only Bolink has the gut to do it.

btw, those intermediate bulkheads are cut by bolink, not sure why they cut them differently but it was a factory deal. I wanted to clean them up but thats how they were

I bet it pulls to one side under acceleration.

Is this the same car as I remeber advertised in RCCA with a truck body around the time the JRX-T was out?

The "Invader MT" was the same except solid rear axle! Why I do not know.

I say put a 4.5t brushless in there and let it rip...gotta run it at least once, right?

I wanted one of those so bad as a kid but never got one. Mainly because they were cheap and being a kid I didn't have much money. Actually, I still don't.

Here's the chassis I was talking to you about in PM. Pretty much the same thing, only a few minor differences. My chassis plates are all green and it's set up for mono shocks front and rear. No shocks though :( The front arms are a little different too. I've seen pics of primitive Digger's that shared that black nylon part of the arm.
I was told this was a "Super Digger" when I got it, but who knows. I can't find vintage literature to confirm this. Bolink seemed to have strange model evolution and transition.

and the body I'll run on it. Just gotta dig out the body mounts and get it fitted.

I'd love to find one of those front bumpers too!

Very cool! Yeah bolink was weird in naming and running changes, there were diggers that were 1/12, 1/10, with solid rear, independent rear, some with TVP chassis (new stuff) and the names stayed the same Lol

I have a off road with solid rear and teeter totter front I will post up next
