CAT 98 driveshaft alternatives

I am looking for a replacement rear driveshaft (part #U1915) or alternatives for a CAT '98 runner. Replacements seem to be difficult to obtain though this part (along with U2213) was used on various models (CAT 2000 SE, CAT 3000, and Fireblade (depending on version)) of the same period. Beyond using the CAT 2000ec driveshafts and requisite supporting hardware, are there any recommended alternatives or workarounds to this part?

Below is a figure along with measurements for comparison. The measurements are in millimeters and are approximate.

A: 11.8
B: 68.0
C: 6.0
D: 11.5
E: 6.0
F: 1.0
G: 6.5
H: ⌀5.0
I: ⌀3.0
J: 2.5

Thank you for the suggestion. Is the price listed about double what it was new?

An explanation regarding alternative driveshafts (and hexes) can be found at the following links. Thank you to Discount RC Store, Incredible_Serious, MattW on the Schumacher forum, and Schumacher for their help along the way.

Page 14 has links to numerous Schumacher exploded diagrams (e.g. CAT 2000 EC, SE, 98, CAT 3000, Cougar 2000, Fireblade 2000, SST 2000) within the document for cross-referencing part compatibility of the different models.
