Wasn't in all that bad a shape really. The rear tank guard was pretty bent up, but the main roll cage, side bars, and bottom only had light scratches. Anodizing was worn in spots but was also very thin and sanded off quick and easy. I'll eventually get it re-done. There are a few extra 4-40 size holes drilled in the bottom, and the servo mounting holes are in the wrong place but I'll use them to mount the header pipes.
It's now the new home of my all-metal Thorp/Jammin' Jay 6-gear, and almost all the parts from my original RC10. Used a set of WSS aluminum knuckles and aluminum front bulkhead I picked up in another lot, as well as some Sassy Chassis bellcranks. Finally made some new (shorter) wing mounts up top out of the beat up nose tubes that came with the car.
An offset nose plate is on it's way from eBay, and I'm considering doing a mono-shock up front when it comes. Still need a body (considering the AE sprint repro from TBG), better condition ball cups, one Tecnacraft turnbuckle up front, and of course wheels. I have some NIP T&A's I can use but I don't like the look of thin front wheels on a sprinter.
I actually considered for a minute doing a WOIN sprinter, using a 10T nose and my set of bigjeepz arms. If I ever move somewhere that has a DO track I might do that...then maybe I'll also convert it to a GT sprinter.
