My first RC10, getting it back on the track

Hello!

I've just gotten my hands on an old RC10 here in Norway, and I'd love to use it before the winter storms in. So any tips on what parts I could buy for it would be appreciated.

It is missing throttle regulator (esc?) and battery. I've got the radio reciever in a bag.
I've been trying to look for Novak T-4 on ebay, but its pretty much useless at this point, they are all gone, so it's much easier to find a modern throttle, but what can I use?

Also! it's a Trinity brush engine in it

Any current brushed or brushless system will work find, the milder the better- but those red Tamiya adaptors will self destruct quickly

Thanks for replying!

So, I can use brushless system without modifying anything else on it?
I figured that brusheless esc were used when having brushless engines.... I'm that new to this!

Yes, but it will be easier to get a brushed ESC. Look for any cheap system - Traxxas makes a waterproof one. But if you want speed and longevity, you'll need to sink more money into it.

At my local hobby shop they want 70$ for M-sonic Viper ECO 20. So anything better and around that price is what I'm looking for. (Cheaper of course.) I don't know much about these. Google isn't of any help here.
So I have no clue if they are good enough, good buy, etc?
I guess I could go for Lipo for this car as well without any big problems? (Running the engine to bits.)
