Just thought I will fix up my JRX2 since my RC10 Graphite is all finished & going well.

I have done a fair bit of work to this JRX2 already & was only side lined due to a spring cup breaking off. This was over 6 months ago and thanks to Mr Horse Power I have a new updated 5 link rear end on this runner.

Mods to this vintage runner has been done to handel the insane 9t brushless motor. A XX retro gearbox was fitted in with a few mods to the chassis to accept it. While rebuilding the truck ratio tranny I tracked down a rare Hydra Drive top lay shaft so a XXX twin plate slipper could be used. This really helps the tranny in jolts from the rough track at times.

The rear drive shafts have now been converted to run standard hex drives as this mod will really help in wheel choice. Rear shocks have been tuned to take advantage of the light weight Li po batteries we run now.

Body is still one of the first batches of TBG shells and are known too break off on impacts so i didn't want to waste good decals & used what I had left over from another re build.

One thing that has always been a problem when running this JRX2 is the wing set up of tubes, wire & buttons so I fitted up some Lazer wing mounts to the shock tower & painted up a new V wing for it. So this will not be a problem anymore.

Can't wait to run it again as these 5 links produce so much rear grip & will be great on our dusty loomy Boondal track

Great looking car. I love the black and yellow scheme. I can't wait to hear how it does against the new stuff.
