any more news about egress re-re??

As a hunch, I reckon they will release a "black special" and skip the actual Egress re-re.

i would sure like to add an egress to my collection.....Is there any info if it is really coming???

Should've called it the "Regress".

I don't see why Tamiya is still holding off on this. The Vajra front suspension arms and rear trailing arms are exactly the same as the Egress. The re-released hi-cap dampers are a perfect fit for the Egress (although the shock tower that comes with the front shocks are a little smaller than on the original Egress). All they really need to do is make new upper and lower decks (the rear trailing arms mounted on the lower deck in the Egress --> less anti-squat than the Avante or Vajra), make the body, and they're golden.

On another note, I would like to see Tamiya re-release the 1/12 Porsche 959 rally car. They could beef it up a little to fix the weak points, but otherwise that thing was freaking cool.

I have an almost new one as well,very dusty tho.Still need to clean it up.I'm hoping for the re release also.On another note i agree with stickboy007... would really like to see the Rothmans's 959 Rally re released as well as the Blazing Blazer.
