Looks in good shape already, I raced one of those BITD, a good car and alot faster than the older style with the stand-up shocks.

I've got one as well sitting in a box in pieces. I need shocks, a wing mount, and the rear pivot brace which I am having a hard time finding.

It's a very well engineered car, I wouldn't fancy changing the belt in a hurry. It has some option parts which include an alloy rear bulkhead, alloy hingepin braces and the clicker from the later SE model.

Just need a new body and undertray, which I'll get from TBG next year.

Why don't you use penguinrc? shipping within the UK should be less costly

That looks to be a very neat build indeed, looks like you've been busy this Christmas period! I look forward to seeing some more pics of the car (did you take any photos mid-build?).

In off road racing I've always only raced 2wd, but the only real experience I've had with driving a 4wd buggy was with a Cat2000 that I used to take home & prepare/maintain for the model shop that sponsored me at the time (RJH models in Corby), the car was raced by a lad who was a fellow sponsored driver but was really too young to work on his own car. I would obviously test out the car & the main impression I got was just how easy it was to drive! Obviously prob any 4wd would give me that impression given that I was only used to my 2wd cars but the CAT really dud feel like you could chuck it at any bump or corner & it would come out the other side, racing 4wd must a far more intense experience!

@ Alex..... looking at your wing, will you finish off the shell in Jurgen Lutenbach colours?
