I always liked the old Air bodies but never knew they had on road bodies as well! Found this in the junk pile at the lhs, gotta be from mid 90's i would think?

is yours a wide body? here's mine out of the bag. it's a narrow s.s. (different part number).

Naw just my luck I have a wide and no wide pan cars to put it on.

I just couldn't turn it down. I sold a lot of stuff at the lhs bitd and sure don't remember them. Might have to see about getting that ss from you once my wallet gets a little thicker

Forgive an ignorant guy… But what is that Lexan part at left of body

This series of body have a air duct that routes air from the front grill (see the hole?) and puts it over the electronics. That's the cool part about the "airs" bodies

Did they work, or was it only adding weight?

they might have made some difference in super speedway racing. but with that being said, i don't recall seeing anyone ever use one.
