Hi,

I picked up yr4 off ebay and as with almost all my purchases it's missing the body. Is the body i need a 190mm or 200mm?
Also wondering what model of yr4 it is. pics pulled of ebay as I haven't received it yet.

Thanks

Rob

The original body is 190 mm but they have wider axles for these to make them 200mm

I have an original unpainted and uncut body from a kit: with the plastic accesories too.
The day I stop running mine that will go on.
I've been running basically that same version for about 5 years, but rather occasionally. It's a really nice car but you need some different rear axle carriers for toe-in

Thanks,

I just bought a 200mm body, any idea where I can get these wider axles or can I just use some spacers?

See how the body fits as it is first. If it's too wide chack for new wheels with offset: lots of choice on different offsets since drifting got big.

The wider axles are expensive; it's not just axles but U-J's.
If it's only a mm or two per wheel: a spacer on the hex, like a thick washer, is possible. But you need to check if the recess for the hex in your wheels is deep enough to keep in contact with the hex. You also have to check if this leaves you enough thread on the axle side for the wheelnut to go deep enough and catch on the rubber part (you could get low-profile wheel nuts if needed)
