Yz-10 front universal short

So I searched but didn't find the answer.

I recently dug out my old yz-10 and am tearing it down and rebuilding.

On one side, as the title says, my front universal is coming up short of proper seating on the 'dog-bone' end.

I am having a hard time troubleshooting this so any help is appreciated - especially help with pictures would be great.

There's different lengths universals depending on the model you have and the arms you have mounted.
So, check if both arms upfront are the same length, and the universals too.
Oh, and some arms have 2 pairs of holes to mount the C-carriers, make sure you 've used the same holes on both sides.

I am pretty sure the universals are the same length but will double check and I have no idea on the a arms but will check those too.

Ps - is that Porsche 356 body 1/10 scale and where did you get it?

In the case you just have one mis-located, there is some info on various lengths here...

Got it. Tore it back apart and found all the tiny washers that space axle properly were all on one side. I found 6 so once I put three on each side the dog bones were both seated properly.

Getting close to running it....

I have never used any kind of washers on my yokomos, there is no need to. The design of the hub is such that there is no need.
