DIY Stealth Transmission Spacers

What to do...you built up a Stealth tranny, but you have no spacers. Search eBay, and if you get very lucky, you get a set. Vintage A&L still sells the alloy ones (look awesome).

BUT...what if there was a part available off the shelf at the LHS that would work?

Hmmm...HPI part # 100318 (I had a blitz, these were leftover parts :) )

They are a touch large to fit into the stealth holes & about .5mm short.

A quick run in a drill on a file fixes that :) a quick bevel on the leading edge that you push into the tranny case.
