Jamin's Losi Street Weapon IWC Edition

I won this on ebay last week and it arrived today. To say I am happy would be an understatment! The previous owner only used it a couple of times and even then it was on carpet. The photos don't do it justice, buts its MINT! Even the chassis looks new, I dont think i'll even bother getting a new one.
TBH all its needs is a strip down and clean, just to remove the dust, but even then its barely dusty!
Not sure what parts to put on it yet, but I'd love to find an original shell if possible, I also have ordered (although yet to receive, from lightning hobbies, that don't seem that 'lightning') some cool skool wheels for it. Might change the top chassis cover as its had some velcro stuck on it, but I think it might clean up good. I will remove the rear roll bar to clean it up a little. I'd love a set of Trinity CR rear hubs on it too, that would be, oooh, soooo nice! I am after a Trinity front bulkhead too, I know who has one, just waiting for a reply
For now, this is how it looks, which could just go on the shelf now TBH

It will only get sweeter Rick!
I took your advice and bought a car outright, rather than building one up with parts. Should work out much cheaper in the long run.

Lightning hobbies was not lightning fast for me either but I saved a ton off using them instead of eBay and it wasn't thaaat long to get the parts. I was still very happy. Nice car to start with, looks like you can spend your time on stuff you want instead of need

I was thinking about trying finding the original shell from the first kit, but I might be interested in that Rick

Is the part no A-8054?

I've ordered some neon yellow losi 5 spokes from there, which I think will be really cool:

This is why I want the shell pictured above. I purchased them last week but they haven't said they have shipped them, just that 'they will ship soon'. I'll be pi55ed if they rip me off not least because of the money...

I don't recall ever getting a notice either, parts just kind of showed up one day

the original SW had the accord in the box (like the pic above). The IWC has the Andy's stratus (which actually is THE original stratus that started the stratus craze that lasted for like 6 or 7 years before the M6 took over)
Will take pics of my nib IWC for you guys next week (this week is prep time for a big 8th BL race this weekend)

Cool! Glad you got this - was a little tempted myself when I first saw it.... then I saw your thread in the off-topic section, so figured you might put in a sneaky bid
I've still got a partial decal sheet from my original 'Weapon'..... there must be a few of those Losi Honda Accord shells lying around as they were largely discarded if you were serious about racing... we nick-named it the 'Street Sausage' shell as although it was quite a stable shell it definately wasn't the most slippery of shapes - mainly due to its physical size!.... Indeed before the release of the IWC edition & Losi's own Stratus shell - the Andy's version would have been a good replacement for the OG Losi Accord shell. Andy's shells were not the easiest to come by in the UK - but I sprayed up a few for a friend who brought them back from a holiday in Florida... from Superior Hobbies IIRC?
Edit; So the shell supplied with the IWC kit was an Andy's moulding??

Hmmm, I'll see if Rick will part with his Stratus, trouble is the 5 spoke wheels, which I specifically ordered becuase they are neon yellow wont really look like right.
I am sure i have seen picture of the newer style wheels in neon yellow, but cant find a part number, anyone know?
One idea I have though is that I have some of the large die-cut Team Losi stickers (from the XXT), that I can put over the rear arch like the original, I think that will look cool!
