That's putting my RC10 Graphite/RPM World's '91 car to shame, and I haven't even cut the chassis nose yet...

Nice!

8)

You might need to juggle shock shaft and body lengths to use the A&L shock tower with the W91 RPM arms.

Looking awesome, do you have some equally crazy wheels to go on this build?

Not crazy but at least they are aluminum 8)

Here are some updated shots. If anyone can help... I guess during one of my very late night builds, I lost a shock. I have looked everywhere and can only conclude that it feel off my desk into the garbage and is now lost forever... WHAT A WASTE! Anyways, If anyone has a DEEP gold 1.02 vintage outside loading o-rings etc. shock body, I would surely pay or trade you for something... 4000 + parts (only 2 of those I guess, ugh  ) I just need the body, no cap or guts.

I have heard the universals are rare... any thoughts?

Thanks for your help and for looking!

I think the 1.02 bottom loaders were sold as an option only for road/oval/carpet. Or whatever you could figure out to do with them... :?

The local LHS guru thought the first Associated universals were made for them by Yokomo... although I doubt they had the gold bling factor goin' on...

the universals are actually made for the RC10 by kyosho (option house said on the package). They are 1/4 standard axle but they use a metric nut, I think its 4mm. Not sure.
